Dance Lessons.

The lessons are available most Wednesdays of the year. Occasionally the Westland Ballroom is unavailable due to other functions, so please contact us, or the Leisure Centre (01935 703810), to confirm that the lessons are to be run and there is a ballroom dance on that night.

Heidi and Lisa have built up an excellent dance class. Each week the classes show steady progress, in particular Heidi and Lisa welcome new beginners to the classes, or dancers who wish to brush up their skills in the improvers class.
We continue to provide two classes: beginners 6.30 until 7.15, and Improvers 7.15 until 8.00. The success of these classes means that we will keep them running this year so please come early as lessons start promptly.

The lessons go from strength to strength. Every week the repertoire of our new dancers grows. We welcome them all onto the dance floor, and wish each of them the pleasure all dancers enjoy.

Each week we offer basic and improvers dance lessons. The classes are lively and well attended so we advise that potential new members contact us prior to attendance to ensure that numbers are kept within reasonable class size.

Currently the dance lessons are focused on the basic ballroom dances of Waltz, Quickstep, Rumba, Cha Cha and Jive. Instruction is by fully qualified dance teachers

Our experience is that ballroom dance is best learned with couples. A number of single dancers attend our classes but we cannot guarantee that numbers will be sufficiently balanced to ensure full matching.

The cost of lessons is deliberately kept to a minimum as we wish to introduce as many people as possible to the pleasures of dance.

Naturally whilst we do our best to ensure continuity of lessons we cannot guarantee that these classes will continue for any specific period.
